Eddie Murphy is Norbit, a man forced into an engagement with the obscene, junk-food-chugging Rasputia (also played by Murphy). Then Norbit’s childhood sweetheart, Kate (Thandie Newton), moves back to town, and Norbit tries to get out of Rasputia’s clutches. 

Looks like a funny one.

Now that Eddie’s back in the headlines I hope everyone will return to realize and appreciate his profound take on wild comedies. We’re all rooting for him to win an Academy Award this year.
