Azure Ray darling Maria Taylor is just about to unleash a wonderful new album on us.  ‘Lynn Teeter Flower’ will be dropping in March featuring the usual gang of talented musicians, including Bright Eyes’s Conor Oberst who co-wrote and sings on “The Ballad of Sean Foley.”

For the time being, Saddle Creek was kind enough to share two new songs with us. It’s great to hear Taylor’s new found confidence. No more hiding behind reverbs and soundscapes. The tunes themselves are also very straight forward with the shimmering “A Good Start”, and touching “Lost Time”, which can just about hold us off till March.
