Short Film: Goodbye to the Normals
By: Rustycat | in: Movies |
Apparently Robbie Williams (that’s a new keyword on The Plugg) commissioned a few British short films to support his latest album “Rudebox”. I’m not quite sure how things actually went down, or if he promoted this brilliant British short, but the directors did a hell of a job.
Someone sent me what I thought was a trailer or some kind of spoof and as I was watching this I thought “this is a great idea for a film, I have to see this”. After a little snooping around I found out that what I’ve just seen was the film!
Goodbye to the Normals is just four minutes long; it follows a fictional story of a boy running away from home. The film was broadcasted in the UK on Channel 4 and is now “touring” the film festivals. You can drop by their website and check out where the next screening is if you’re bored.
Or – you can easily click play on the video below and see the full version of this wonderful film right here.

I have seen this short a few months back and it was totally hilarious. I have thought of running away before but never got the nerves to actually do it. Thoughts of washing my own laundry kept me from it. Lol.
Great find.
