So in case you haven’t been visiting YouTube regulary, there is this guy called Tay Zonday who wrote and performed an original song called ‘Chocolate Rain‘. I probably don’t have to be the one telling you it’s a huge hit on the internet at the moment. The eerie performace, the ominous lyrics and that Rick Astley voice all make for a strange but guilty pleasure. It has spawned endless spoofs, covers and responses. I guess it’s better than a couple of teenagers miming The Pixies, but it’s still a weird little hit, which deserves a mention on The Plugg.

Well, I just spent half an hour alone in a room with headphones on watching many versions of this anomally…Shouldn’t have had that coffee beforehand, palms sweaty, hands shaking, maybe I should move away from the computer to breath in.
