Horror Briefs: Vampires Vs. Zombies

If you ever have a hankering to sit down and watch a really good horror film make certain you don’t watch “Vampires Vs. Zombies” which contains no vampires battling zombies. In fact, it contains very little of anything at all. Very little plot, very little characterization, very little talent, very little of interest. If, perhaps, the title had been changed to “Low Budget Lesbian Vampires, Who Should Be More Fun, But Aren’t, In No Way, Shape, Or Form Battle Zombies Who Aren’t Much Fun Either, But, Who Cares, Because They’re Barely in The Movie Anyway” then maybe… No. It would still suck.

Warning: If you think you’ll like this because you enjoy bad movies. You won’t. You absolutely will not enjoy this. You may, however, end up marking your calendar so as to make an annual occasion out of cursing the day you rented this wretched piece of tripe.

So I take it you weren’t impressed with this movie?

Let’s just say I’ve marked my calendar.

If a Zombie bites a Vampire, does it turn into a zombie, and Vice Versa?

It’s possible, Kendall, but this film won’t be the one to answer your question because, as I’ve already stated, vampires and zombies never fight in Vampires Vs. Zombies. It does have an excellent DVD box cover. Maybe they should have just put out a poster.

It just got me thinking about Underworld where vampires and werewolves fight. They can’t change each othere because they come from the same bloodline.

That movie wasn’t very good either, it followed a trend at the time to turn monsters into action stars (see: Van Helsing). However, it was far and beyond a better film than V v Z.

So lemme see if I get this right, there’s lowbudget lesbian vampires, who don’t actually fight any zombies because there are, in fact, hardly any zombies to be seen? I wanna see Kendall’s movie about lesbian vampires fighting werewolf zombies.

Itax, There are no lesbian (that I know of) Vampires in Underworld. The werewolves are just regular werewolves.

You’re right Kendall, but a lesbian vampire or two wouldn’t have hurt Underworld a bit.
Not to mention that you guys have given me the title for the film I’ve been thinking about making but never get around to: “ZOMBIE WEREWOLVES!”
To be followed by REVENGE OF THE ZOMBIE WEREWOLVES! and ZOMBIE WEREWOLVES: MOONFLESH REVOLUTION
It’s my Zomwolf trilogy. Whataya think, Charbarred?
