The Inbox: The Mabuses, Marco Mahler, Trolleyvox and I Concur
By: Charbarred | in: Music |Time to share some of the exciting acts that have been hitting our inbox…

The Mabuses
I’ve been meaning to write about this wonderful band for a while now. Luckily for them, their PR company is doing a good job and won’t stop nagging us (rightfully so). Except for having the best band website in existence, their album Mabused delivers some incredible moments.

Marco Mahler
Singer songwriter Marco Mahler produces well written dreamy melodies that are hard to resist. Nowadays many singers are compared to Sufjan Stevens and Nick Drake, but Mahler actually delivers on that promise.

Trolleyvox
Songwriter-guitar player Andrew Chalfen and singer Beth Filla have just released a double album comprised of a full-band electric album called Your Secret Safe, and a sweet acoustic album named Luzerne. This is smart engaging music, check them out.

I Concur
UK newcomers I Concur fuse Shogazing and Americana together. It’s no small feat and is well worth a listen. Recently signed to Brew Records, the band shows great promise and is currently touring the UK.
