Azeda Booth make sweeping ambient tunes that carry you as if floating on a feather in a mad world. Oh…and their (male) singer sounds like a little girl. Interested? Press “Play”.
Azeda Booth - Ram
Hailing from Calgary, Canada these guys have a very welcoming take on electronic music. Owing more to bands like Broken Social Scene and Deerhunter then whatever passes for “ambient” music in your local elevator, Azeda Booth is readying their first full length LP for a July 22 release. This is really exhilarating music, and if like me you like to occassionaly close your eyes and be taken away, you can start by clicking here.
Azeda Booth - In Red

sounds like Explosions in the Sky and Imogen Heap had a baby.
Well put…that’s one hell of a baby!
Well, hell IS for children.
Nobody gets and animal collective off of this?
I can’t get enough of groups like this. Wonderful sound. I’ll be getting the CD.
Definitely adding it to my collection, it would be nice to find this on vinyl. Great find, Charbarred… you are a true wizard.
Thanks for sharing.
Yeah, definitely getting an Animal Collective vibe from this, but it’s a more refined sound.
Thanks guys, I glad you liked it.
