Metallica - Death Magnetic

So the new Metallica album ‘Death Magnetic’ leaked today….

All around the world office workers, students, disgruntled housewives and even regular Joes are frantically searching for a download link. It’s a big day. You just know you’re going to get a call from someone who hasn’t cared about music since you were in high school telling you that he digs the new Metallica. It’s officially Metallica Download Day and here’s why you should care:

Of course here at The Plugg we don’t support piracy. We believe that every artist deserves to eat. If you take part in today’s festivities, please remember to buy the album when it hits the stores. Rumour has it that this time around instead of being sued, you will have to endure an entire hour with Lars Ulrich while he goes on and on about why you shouldn’t be stealing his art. James might make a short cameo and discuss his feelings.

But seriously, from what I’ve heard so far this album is everything a Metallica album should be. No more souless Grunge or muffled mess. This is the real deal guys.

And while the walkmen are long gone and the long hair is a distant memory, we all get to walk home today listening a proper Metallica album. Give these guys a big hand!

    If I go to the Metallica show this year it will be to see the opening act: THE SWORD.
