Passenger’s new single (well, for the US anyway) Night Vision Binoculars is one of those irresistible tunes that you can’t help but play over and over. What starts as a romantic paean to unrequited love quickly unravels to reveal a disturbed and obsessive boy. The song is bouncy and the lyrics are oddly comical. Ah, such sweet subversion.
