Ludacris Rock Remix - First Song LEAKED

By: Kendall | in: Music |

A few weeks back we showed a really odd video from from producer Igloo, and made mention that there might be something cool going down in the Ludacris camp. It appears that this is completely true. The Plugg is the FIRST to leak the first track from the Ludacris/Igloo rock remix project. We have it, and are offering it up for stream and for download. The outcome is really, really cool. We can’t wait to get our hands on the rest of this one.

I’m really digging this tune. My problem with Hip Hop is that in many cases it involves monotonous elevator music as the backing track.
This one just works for me.

Where’s Ryan, I’m waiting on his weigh in on this, that preview video made him so mad because he couldn’t hear the songs!

Josh Monroy, better known as Igloo, is currently signed to SONY/ATV
publishing company as a producer & writer. He gained notoriety as Ludacris’
recording engineer and in-house producer at The Ludaplex Studios in College
Park, GA. Igloo’s experience is highlighted by working along side Ludacris, who
he has helped earn 7 platinum records not to mention a Grammy winning album,
“Release Therapy.” Monroy is a multifaceted recording engineer, producer and
    musician.
Igloo continues to grow as an individual, who genuinely wants to create great
music; music that doesn’t necessarily have to be confined to one specific genre.
He plans on expanding his horizons and making music that is eternal, whether it
is Pop, Hip Hop, R & B, Dance, or Rock & Roll. Igloo lives by being about the
music, not the money or fame, just the music.
Igloo has been in the industry 5 years. His credits include: 2 Fast 2 Furious
[Bonus Track]/Assistant (Original Soundtrack); 2 Fast 2 Furious [Clean]
    /Assistant
    (Original Soundtrack); 2 Fast 2 Furious/Assistant (Original
Soundtrack) Chicken -N- Beer [Clean]/Engineer (Ludacris); Chicken -N- Beer
    [Import Bonus Tracks]/Engineer (Ludacris); Chicken -N- Beer/Engineer

Arlen Plays Arlen: The Timeless Tribute to Harold Arl/Assistant Engineer (Sam
Arlen); Duets: The Final Chapter [Clean]/ Engineer (The Notorious B.I.G.); Duets:
The Final Chapter/Engineer (The Notorious B.I.G.) ; Get Back /Engineer
(Ludacris); My Kung Fu Is Good/Engineer (The Duke); Pleasure & Pain/Assistant
    Engineer (One Twelve); Pleasure and Pain [Clean]/Assistant Engineer (112);

The Simpsons 400th Episode, 4-IZE (Fantastik 4-IZE Album), Harley Davidson,
The Ludacris Foundation and an Andy Sandberg skit. .
Igloo strives to find not only a great sound for the artist he is working with, but a
new sound. This comes from his love and admiration of the late great Jimi
Hendrix, who was his inspiration to be apart of music. The spirituality and the
emotion that music creates inside the listener, inside the artist, inside us all is
what motivates Josh “Igloo” Monroy to greatness in his music.

I suppose I’m predisposed to really like this song as I, too, do it for hip hop.
