The Watson Twins: Southern Manners

Let’s just skip the whole Jenny Lewis thing and cut to the chase…The Watson Twins have a new mini album / EP called Southern Manners, and it’s really worth a listen. It’s an 8 track EP which was co-produced by the twins, Russ Pollard (Sebadoh, Folk Implosion) and J. Soda. It also features Brian Lebarton (Beck), Aram Arslanian and of course, Jenny Lewis.
Chandra and Leigh Watson have written some wonderful tunes, along the lines of Azure Ray and Red House Painters. The EP has some really wonderful dreamy songs and comes highly recommended.
