Weeds

SPOILER ALERT – don’t read if you haven’t seen the last episode yet.
Well, Weeds season 2 has officially ended leaving us in full suspense. The charming Celia Hodes, who is not so charming this season, has turned into a paranoid wacko. Shane’s gone AWOL with Cat the crazy chick, followed by the toeless brother in law and his new found friend, the Eskimo. Silas is totally screwed with all the weed in his trunk, and Nancy better think quick because there are all those loaded weapons pointing at her head, and a dead DEA agent next door.
Good stuff. This season was definitely better than the first, they went all out. Loved it.
But the best bit about season 2 was the Theme song. Each week, Showtime delivered a cool reinterpretation of Malvina Reynolds’s “Little Boxes” by different artists.
Here’s the list:
1. Elvis Costello
2. Death Cab For Cutie
3. Engelbert Humperdinck
4. McGarrigle Sisters
5. Maestro Charles Barnett
6. Aidan Hawken
7. Ozomatli
8. The Submarines
9. Tim DeLaughter of Polyphonic Spree
10. Regina Spektor
11. Jenny Lewis
I’m not sure if the tracks will be released on CD, but they’re available for a quick listen on Showtime’s website (US only).
If you missed Weeds season 2 and you still want to watch it after I ruined the ending, I highly recommend it, even if you didn’t like season 1.

I love that this show is on Showtime, they get to do a lot more with the plot than they would on network TV, but being that it is on Showtime nobody has heard of it!
What a great show, watch it people!
so wot song is the theme song?
Hello,
Wondering if you can help me. I’ve been trying to find out who sings/the name of the song at the end of “Dead in the Neathers” (episode7 I think) from season 1. It dosen’t seem to be on the soundtracks. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks.lisa
