Wu Tang Clan to Take on The Beatles

By: Kendall | in: Music |

Wu Tang Clan

It has been formerly announced that the remaining members of Wu-Tang Clan will be releasing an album titled “8″. More interestingly, is that they are planning on collaborating with Dhani Harrison (son of George Harrison) and John Fruscianti to release a cover of “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”. It is said to be a mixture of both acoustic and electric stylings, and cover the relationship of a heroin dealer and a customer. The Dangermouse mixup of Jay-Z and the Beatles was novel, and quite interesting, but the can Method Man and crew pull it together without losing the effect that Dangermouse mastered?

In the meantime, here’s a little something we dug up on YouTube:

It’s not going to be a cover, they’ll just sample it. Nice find with this dude, he’s really skilled with that… oh well really tiny guitar ( mandolin i think, i’m a really big instrument noob).
